Theme Analysis - The Open Boat

Throughout the inbuilt story, the four sailors are forever trying to survive addled in the vast, deep, dark, unknown nautical. The nautical is dangerous to the sailors, where the waves were jagged.. and deliberatemed to thrust up in points same(p) rocks(195). The sailors see the oceanic as jagged rocks, and over they go is dangerous, and they peril wrecking their boat everywhere they go. The author uses this analogy to manoeuvre that the characters must be horrify at all times, making sure that every whole t i they take is the right one, so that they dont luck capsizing their boat and dying. The setting of this story also shows that the characters willingness to survive must be endless and demanding. The ocean is relentless too everyone, the ocean toys with the sailors, because after successfully surmounting one wave you discover that in that location is another behind it (196). The ocean doesnt give up and there are everlastingly waves coming and it makes it seem like they are never sack to get out of the ocean and get saved. This toys with the characters minds, proving that they must have a strong will, knowing that they will get saved eventually.
